Can I Borrow Your Sombrero?

I went to visit my friend, Jackie, on Saturday night. Twice in just a few weeks = awesome!

We went to dinner at one of my favorite restaurants, Cafe Maya. I obviously ordered a giant burrito that I couldn’t finish and enjoyed delicious sangria. One thing about this restaurant is that guitar-playing, song-singing, sombrero-wearing men walk around to the tables and ask to sing for you. Don’t worry, you get to play the maracas while they serenade you. Afterwards, they asked us to take a picture. I thought this was weird because you’d think that we should ask them if we wanted a picture, but I digress.

A little blurry, but you get the idea. (Hi Di!)

After dinner we hung out at Jackie’s new crib and chatted. Later, we met Jackie’s brother & his fiance’ out for a drink and called it a night circa 11 PM. I’m not even sorry about how old I am. I think we can all agree that 11 is the new 4 AM, yes?

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and are enjoying your Tuesday!
